Luis Robert

.414 AVG 1.245 OPS 12 Hits

7 Runs 3 HR 11 RBI 0 SB

Robert continues to swing hard and often as his chase rate and walk rate rank one of the lowest in Major League Baseball. These metrics don't seem to affect his production at the plate because his K rate is below league average and he has consistently reached a max exit velocity of over 114 mph through his first 3 seasons. His season long slash line sits at .301/.332/.793 with 11 stolen bases. With his unique power-speed combo, he'll look to help the White Sox make a playoff push in the season half.

Bobby Witt Jr.

.424 AVG 1.017 OPS 14 Hits

5 Runs 1 HR 4 RBI 5 SB

The rookie phenom has been on fire the past few weeks after an understandably slow start to his MLB career. He ranks in the top percentile in sprint speed, pushing his stolen base total to 17 on the year. His slash line sits at .255/.301/.758 for the season with an xBA of .266. His average should continue to rise along with his home run totals as he has an max exit velocity over 113 mph. Witt Jr. is on pace for a 20 HR/30 SB season in his first shot in the majors at just 22 years old. Get used to hearing his name for many years to come.

Juan Soto

.450 AVG 1.693 OPS 9 Hits

7 Runs 4 HR 7 RBI 0 SB

Juan Soto is officially back ladies and gentlemen. The best hitter on the planet (in my opinion) has started to come around as of late. Since June 18th, Soto has an average of .364 and an OPS of 1.240. Last years National League MVP runner up has an OPS over .960 in his 5th career season at just 23 years old. His slash line has jumped to .248/.403/.896 for the season with plenty of games left to play. Even with his struggles so far this year, his approach has yet to change, he ranks in the top 2% in walk rate and top 4% in chase rate for the 5th consecutive year. With an xBA of .288 so far, he should be able to continue to push his average back up to his career average of .293 by years end.

Freddie Freeman

.625 AVG 1.762 OPS 15 Hits

6 Runs 2 HR 6 RBI 0 SB

The 32 year old veteran slugger has had himself an unbelievable week at the plate pushing his season average up to .320. Pitchers can't find a way to get the Dodger first baseman out with 4 multi-hit games in a row going into Friday night. Freeman continues to be one of the most well-rounded hitters in the game with a xBA of .332 on the year. He most likely won't be able to match his power numbers from last year (31 HR) with only 12 as we head into the all-star break but his all-fields approach will carry his average throughout the second half. Freeman has made a wonderful first impression in his first year in L.A.
