July 3rd - July 10th

Corey Seager

.462 AVG 1.439 OPS 11 Hits

6 Runs 4 HR 9 RBI 0 SB

Seager capitalized off of his hard hit rate and average exit velocity over the past week pushing his season slash line up to .245/.317/.773. His xBA is .304 for the season, aligning with his career average of .296. Seager looks to be in for a monster 2nd half of the season after capturing the American League player of the week honors.

Austin Riley

.455 AVG 1.334 OPS 13 Hits

6 Runs 3 HR 8 RBI 0 SB

Riley continues to barrel up the baseball with some of the best hitters in majors. His hard hit rate and exit velocity rank in the top 3% of the league. Riley continues to destroy off-speed pitches over the past 2 seasons, hitting a combined .317 against. Riley has also lowered his K and BB rate of the past 2 seasons. While hitting the ball harder than he ever has before, his max EV and exit velocity look to be in line with career averages. At just age 25, Riley is turning into a superstar.

Josh Rojas

.464 AVG 1.302 OPS 11 Hits

6 Runs 1 HR 8 RBI 2 SB

With middling speed and power, Rojas finds ways to get himself on base with his patient approach. With a chase rate in the 84th percentile, Rojas has lowered his K rate this year to 20.4% (league avg. 22%) and looks to keep his BB rate in line with his career average. Even with this recent hot streak, Rojas season slash line sits at .282/.348/.774. Rojas will look to keep this hot streak going while batting near the top of the Diamondbacks lineup.

Kyle Schwarber

.269 AVG 1.191 OPS 7 Hits

7 Runs 5 HR 6 RBI 0 SB

Kyle Schwarber continued his outrageous June by hitting 5 more home runs this past week through June 40th (the Schwarber calendar). Schwarber's slash line for the season sits at .219/.332/.856 after a miserable April start but has continued to push towards Aaron Judge's home run lead. Schwarber has hit 28 home runs on the season now, 17 of them coming since June 1st. It's hard ignore Schwarber's unbelievable run over the past 2 seasons, establishing himself as one of the best power hitters in the game. Schwarber ranks atop the league in barrel %, exit velocity, and xSLG while retaining an elite walk % and chase rate.

Josh Donaldson

.241 AVG .810 OPS 6 Hits

5 Runs 3 HR 10 RBI 1 SB

It hasn't been the resurgent season the Yankees were looking for when they first traded for Donaldson over the off-season but he has been taking strides in the right direction as of late. Donaldson's season long slash line sits at .228/.312/.714 even after this impressive week at the plate. Donaldson's xBA sits at .251, just under his career average but his walk rate in way down and his strikeouts are way up. It's looking to be somewhat of a lost season for the once known slugger in his first season in the Bronx.
